With mother's day this weekend I thought I would want to share one of my recent favorite maternity sessions with the lovely Heather Grimm. I love photographing Maternity sessions! I think that is a moment most mothers opt-out of taking. However, I think that it is such an important moment to document. It shows that special bond that you have with your little before he/she even arrives.

What made this session so special is not only documenting the mother-to-be – but also working with incredible creative vendors to make this shoot possible. There were so many details and everything came together perfectly to document this moment.

The Henry Howard Hotel was an absolute dream to photograph in. I cannot wait to actually book a stay there in New Orleans with a couple of friends. They truly get my quaint with a bit of whimsy style.

Ashley Sievert Beauty never disappoints with make-up! She does such a fantastic job on brides that I knew this mom-to-be would feel absolutely beautiful.

And Antigua Florals – I am obsessed! Her Instagram is one of my favorites to look at for inspiration. Her arrangements are gorgeous and I am so thankful to have worked with her. (Now how can I get professional floral arrangements every day at home?)
